Principal's Corner
~ Welcome to Kenneth Divich Elementary School ~

Dear Knight Family,

My name is Ronald Kamman and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Divich Elementary School.  Serving as your leader is a responsibility that I do not take lightly.  Our students are my number one priority.  Every decision that we make will have our students as the guiding force.  My goal is to provide an environment where all students are happy, healthy, and safe.  When I say Knight family, I mean a partnership between families and staff.  We each play a vital role in the success of our students.  In order for us to increase the effectiveness of our instruction we all need to make sure that we give our best each and every day.

My entire thirteen years of educational experience have been with the Clark County School District.  I have worked as a math teacher, middle school dean of students, and high school assistant principal.  My wife and I have three daughters; a first grader, a fourth grader, and a sixth grader.  I proudly serve as the chair of the School Organizational Team at the elementary school and as a parent member at the middle school in which they attend and have enjoyed serving as a volunteer at fall festival, fun run, and field day.  I understand what our families deal with on a daily basis, not only as your principal, but also as a dad.  I will work tirelessly to ensure all students have the best experience while at Divich.

Once again, I am excited and eager to bring my experience as an educational leader to Divich and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your student’s success. My door is always open and I welcome your input.  I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student meet their goals.  My official start date is Wednesday, December 11. Information regarding a meet and greet will be forthcoming.

Best Regards,

Ronald Kamman, Principal
